Our role is to take both perspectives seriously, look for the underlying drivers, and work with the family on goals that make sense in the contexts that matter to them. Every child's presentation in different settings has underlying reasons, and our role is to work with the child to understand their needs and support them to thrive across all of these settings.",

At Kid Link, we want this process to feel as smooth as possible. Whenever a transition occurs, the outgoing therapist will always provide a thorough handover to the incoming OT, including relevant school contact details where appropriate, so that continuity of care is maintained and the new therapist can hit the ground running in supporting the child.",
